What is your primary product or service?
Repair/Refurbish outdoor furniture. Replace chair slings, install replace vinyl strapping, repair umbrella, parts, sell furniture covers, install chair and table parts, custom cushions and pillows.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Retired from the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and needed something to do. I enjoy repairing outdoor furniture.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
I come to the customer. Show up on time for appointments, I do the pick up and deliver, most work done at customers home or business.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have a small shop located in the basement of BlindQuest in Troy and work out of my garage and truck. Someday I plan to open a store front to sell new and used outdoor furniture and have more room to store supplies and do repair work.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash and check perfered. Credit cards are accepted but there is a 5% charge because i have to pay someone else to process the card and pay the credit/debit card fees.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Scott Wiesehan is the sole owner/member of the business.
